Brutally stark evil world that keeps you glued

A stark existence for werewolves in a world where vengeance reigns supreme. Extinction for god's and wolves is on the horizon. Romance has little room in this story because mates are doomed to a bleak future where love barely exists. The story has promise but no likeable characters. Any time you may start to like someone...well they go all evil. So yes the story is unpredictable, the bloody action non stop and the sheer menace intriguing but all I can wish is that there is some hope for a future and a hero that doesn't exist. Hopefully there is a second book where a hero can succeed.

A Must Read

This is a wonderful book set in a world populated by werewolves, witches and very few humans. The story follows the life of a beautiful, female werewolf by the name of Elene who is still struggling to find out who she really is. At the start of the story we see her taken prisoner along with two of her friends, a witch and a human, after the brutal slaying of her entire pack at the hands Kaden, a blood thirsty werewolf who kills for fun.

I think that this is a must read for anyone who likes the werewolf and romance genre. I enjoyed it all the way to the end and I'm glad to fully recomend it to everyone. It had over 1,000,000 hits on Wattpad and is one of the most popular werewolf stories on the site although this new edition is so much better. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Perfect start beyond linear algebra.

This book is designed to be a one semester book in undergrad analysis.

It covers almost all the material in either Rudin's or Krantz's, which are usually covered in two semesters. however, Prof. Morgan does sacrafice some of the depth that other texts go into (example: theorem a sequence is convegent cauchyis only proved the forward way).

Why I like it:

-This approach is perfect. You get a solid underpinning in the basics and get a taste of many diffrent subjects, (fourier, stirling's formula, Volumes of N-balls etc...). It is perfect for a first class in upper math (beyond linear algebra).

-the problems sets are actual problem sets that should be done on a per lecture basis. other books are filled with extensive problems that usually overwhelm a student with only a linear algebra background.

-all the proofs relating to compactness are written with the three equivilent def. of compactness (closed & bounded in R^N, open covers, sequential compactness). This allows a student to fully appreciate the modern defenition of open covers for compactness.

the same goes for proofs involving continuity (sequential, epsilon-selta, inverse images of opens sets are open).

Both of these techniques makes the transition to general metric spaces, where the open covers and inverse images are primaraly used, smooth.

This is no conventional Analysis book. It is written to drive the reader's focus to a single topic each time. The chapters are 1-2 pages long and it is useful for what is is thought for. Continuity? You read 1 page, straight to the point. Facts about number sets and infinity? 1 page. This book is simply beautiful. It is written as a textbook for just one semester of undergraduate study, and it does the job. It is concise, jet it contains all the main theorems with the proofs rigorous enough. It begins with elementary concepts of numbers and logic, and even topology (so it treats continuity via open sets as well!), compactness is treated in three different ways, Fourier series is explained, and it even touches metric spaces... The book doesn't go very deep, but it talks well about basic issues in analysis and it's rigorous enough for an undergraduate text. The book can even serve well as a manual for those who need to refresh their knowledge about main theorems of analysis while considering other fields of mathematics invoking some analysis issues, because it's concise, rigorous enough and well organized. Very useful.

Men lined up outside these cafés waiting to pay three times the usual price for coffee served by a panty-free young woman, hoping to catch a fortuitous glimpse. Within a few years, a new craze took hold: the no-panties "massage" parlor. Competition for customers led these new types of businesses to offer an increasingly bizarre range of services: fondling clients through holes in coffins whilst they lie naked inside playing dead, interiors catering to commuter-train fetishists, young virgin role-playing, etc. Amongst these many destinations was a Tokyo club called Lucky Hole. Here, the premise was ridiculously simple: clients stood on one side of a plywood partition, a hostess on the other; in between them was simply a hole big enough for a certain part of the male anatomy to pass through.

Nobuyoshi Araki was a frequent visitor to the sex clubs of Tokyo’s Shinjuku neighborhood, and he photographed them profusely until the golden age of Japan’s sex industry came to a screeching halt in February 1985, with the enactment of the New Amusement Business Control and Improvement Act. In over 800 photos, Tokyo Lucky Hole documents the free-for-all spirit of those clubs via Araki’s lens.   Text in English, French, and German

About the Author
Nobuyoshi Araki was born in Tokyo in 1940. Given a camera by his father at the ripe age of twelve, Araki has been taking pictures ever since. He studied photography and film at Chiba University and went into commercial photography soon after graduating. In 1970 he created his famous Xeroxed Photo Albums, which he produced in limited editions and sent to friends, art critics, and people selected randomly from the telephone book. Over the years, his bold, unabashed photographs of his private life have been the object of a great deal of controversy and censorship (especially in his native Japan), a fact that has not fazed the artist nor diminished his influence. To date, Araki has published over 400 books of his work.

Araki a gritty Artist with a camera

Araki brings to you a strange and gritty look at Tokyo's red light district.A world that will make you blush,feel sorrow and lust with his stark B&W images.These are photos of real people in their real world jobs and professions and Araki captures it on film.The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was the size of the book.If you have large hands this book is thick but small and can be akward to hold.

I love this book - my previous copy went astray (someone else may be loving it now), so I wanted another, and am happy now to have a copy to dip into it (ahem) whenever I feel the need for inspiration ;)
