Endless Possibility: a RUSH novella (City Lights), by Emma Scott

After the disastrous Planet X party, Noah Lake knows he must to learn to cope with his anger and bitterness, to learn to live as he is and not as he had been. He sets out on an impossible journey, alone, in the hopes of making himself worthy of Charlotte's love, and to slay the demons of an old life that is lost to him.

As he makes his arduous way across Europe, following Charlotte's tour, Noah writes of his experiences that will become his memoir, and it is only after reading his words that Charlotte comes to fully understand the hardships Noah endured for their sake; a journey that nearly broke him in mind, body, and spirit. She knows what she must do: show Noah that while she is the light in his darkness, he is the music in her heart, and that without him, she'd be just as lost.

Endless Possibility is the final chapters in a love story about acceptance, peace, and the bond between two souls who have found their equal in each other, and the happily ever after they both deserve.

This is NOT a standalone. It is recommended one read RUSH first to avoid spoilers and general confusion. :)

Review
Pure escapism. It grips onto you, and keeps your heart in its hold and your emotions on the roll until the end. Claire Robinson, Top Goodreads Reviewer *If you loved Rush then Endless Possibility is a must read. This is the best novella I've read to date.  My Boyfriend Lives In Books Blog*[It] absolutely captivated me and felt more like a full length novel...simply incredible and beautifully written. Maria's Book Blog*The writing is flawless. We are effortlessly placed inside the pages of Noah's story. Inside his heart. And most importantly inside his soul. Biblio Belles Book Blog

What I loved about this though, aside from the lovely and original plot line, was how raw and effortless this was written. You felt the anguish, the pain, the stench of failure. But the joy, happiness, success and sense of accomplishment was just as affecting. Didi, Top Goodreads Reviewer

Everything you could want and more.
By ShannonVM
"I can't see the ending Charlotte. What is it going to be?"

Who knew writing a review for a novella could be so difficult? But here I sit, days after finishing Endless Possibility, trying to put into words (through the tears mind you!) how achingly beautiful this story is. I don't think I have the words to do it justice.

Noah Lake completely and utterly stole my heart in RUSH: New York City, the first book I had the pleasure of reading by Emma Scott, the first book where we meet Charlotte and Noah. I had no idea how captivated I would be by it, and I didn't want it to end...I wasn't ready to leave these 2 remarkable characters behind. So when I saw that Emma was writing Noah's "memoir" I was beyond excited, especially since we were going to get to see everything he went through in the weeks he was separated from Charlotte. And oh what weeks those were. My heart broke, repeatedly, as Noah was determined to learn to navigate on his own and make his way back to Charlotte. Nothing was easy for him, he was broken and at times throroughly frustrated, but he was relentless in proving to himself, to Charlotte, to everyone, that he could do this...that he could stand on his own and make his way in the world as a blind man. Someone that would be worthy of the love Charlotte gave him.

"It was my trial by fire. I don't need to tell you how badly it burned. It doesn't matter. What matters is that you know you're worth it. I'd do it again a hundred times over if I had to. For you."

So much heart and emotion was packed into this story, there wasn't a moment that didn't elicit some sort of response- a laugh, a tear, (many tears), a sigh, a gasp, a swoon. I'm so in awe of authors who are able to take 26 letters and combine them in such a way to make us feel so many things, and Emma Scott does it brilliantly with this book. Endless Possibility is the flawless and enthralling conclusion to Noah and Charlotte's story, I couldn't have asked for more.

Noah never ceases to amaze
By Michelle
This is Noah's story from Rush, during the time he is separated from Charlotte while they are in Europe. Noah is an amazing character in so many ways. He possesses a certain strength, confidence and personality that makes him very charismatic and masculine. However, his life drastically changed after his accident and the loss of his sight. Noah knows that he will always struggle if he depends too heavily on Charlotte and doesn't try to let go of his inner turmoil and embrace this new life he must live.

I love Emma Scott's writing. Noah's voice is very well-portrayed in this - all of his obstacles, frustrations, musings and sarcasm. He wouldn't be Noah if he wasn't pissed off or bitter to some extent, while being humbled and appreciative in equal measures. Noah's experience in Europe is a huge undertaking for someone who hasn't given himself much time to adapt to his new circumstances. While I was reading this, I think I was more scared for Noah than he was, knowing how dark his world is and his refusal to seek help. At the same time, I couldn't help but love Noah more for his persistence and determination. Like with any challenge, he stumbles several times before he finally succeeds. I was definitely endeared to all the people who offered Noah a helping hand, knowing he couldn't see them or return the favor.

Noah's story is very inspiring because he started out as someone who gave up on living because he could no longer maintain the life he had before. Even with Charlotte at his side to guide him, Noah insisted on paving his own way and in the process, he really reflects deeply about himself and has to be realistic about his adaptation with newly modified strengths and weaknesses. While he is definitely a survivor, he chooses to take it a step further and re-infuses purpose and meaning into his life. The journey is tough, but if anyone can be triumphant on the other side, it would be Noah Lake. For fans of Rush, this is a must-read.

The epitome of a perfectly-flawed love story!
By T. Sanders
As an avid reader and reviewer, I always strive to include at least one particular thing I enjoyed about a certain book in the review--perhaps a line or two, or a pivotal moment that took my breath away; but with this book, I was unable to do so. Why? Because it had so many moments that spoke to me, it would be next to impossible to pinpoint just one. So many lines of beautiful prose laced with gut-wrenching emotion tore at my heartstrings. However, here is one line from this book that sums up exactly how I feel about every single story I've experienced by this author:

(Do you know how that is? Where you only need to read the first few pages and you're already thinking, "This might be a good one. One of the best ones. One of the rare finds that stays with you forever.)

This is the fourth book by Emma Scott that I have devoured, and they just keep getting better.Hers are among those I would pick up and read without even skimming the back cover text because I know I will not be disappointed. And the best part about her books? They never leave me wanting to know more or feeling unsatisfied with the ending ... only craving more stories like them! Though I was perfectly content with the ending of "RUSH," I am thankful that Ms. Scott gave us "Endless Possiblity" as just one more piece in the Noah/Charlotte puzzle we didn't even know we needed.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a compelling, emotional read ... but NOT before you read "RUSH" as this is a spin off/fill-in companion piece. You will not regret it.
